Cacao Best Cup #11 coms to us from producer Eduardo Muñoz from Finca El Eucalipta. This 10 bag micro-lot placed 11th out of 766 submissions at the 2016 Cauca Best Cup in Colombia. Finca El Eucalipta is situated in the municipality of El Tambo in Cauca at an approximate altitude of 1,800 meters. The coffee is comprised of Castillo and Colombia varietals. It was washed, fermented for 12 hours and solar dried.
The cup is balanced with delicate notes of orange blossom, blackberry and honeydew while maintaining a caramel rich body. We prefer this coffee as a pour over or batch brewed.
