Ethiopia / Shara
The Ethiopia Shara comes to us from the Adado washing station located in the Shara village of Yirgacheffe. As co-op owners, the Adado washing station is exempt from the ECX, enabling them to export their coffee directly. The difference is that they are able to separate out higher quality lots, whereas the ECX separates coffees by region, compromising traceability. This attention to detail and quality comes through in the cup. It is a naturally processed Ethiopian heirloom and is grown at an altitude of 1,795 - 1,860 MASL.
The Ethiopia Shara makes a great espresso and a great bean to add to any cold brew. This is a great filter coffee for fruit-bomb lovers!
