This coffee comes to us from the Kamviu Farmers' Organization located in Embu County north of Nairobi and near the slopes of Mt. Kenya.
This offering was brought to us from Crop to Cup Coffee Importers. The lot consists of SL28, Ruiru II, Kent and Batian varieties grown in red volcanic soils at 1,750 MASL. It is fully washed and dried on raised beds.
In the cup you'll find dark fruity and savory notes with a grapefruit-like acidity. This coffee offers both big body and big acidity with a lingering aftertaste of caramels and burnt sugar. Enjoy!
