Brazil / Sítio Joaninha
The Brazil / Sítio Joaninha comes to us from our friends at FAF in São Paulo, Brazil. This lot was produced by Valdir José Ferreira at Sítio Joaninha Farm in Caconde. Valdir does not apply herbicides to his crops It is a natural processed coffee grown at an altitude of 1,200-1,300 masl.
The Bob-o-link project is a network of farmers that share information about ecological farming practices while striving to become fully organic. The project has made progress in reforestation efforts in their area and the continue to empower many local farmers. Valdir is a participant in the project.
We love this coffee as an espresso. We pull winey notes over citrus and cacao. It also makes a great pour over where we get smoother honey graham notes with grape. Enjoy!
