Ethiopia / Ardi
The Ethiopia Ardi is a natural heirloom bean from the Kercha Co-op in the Guji region of Sidama, Ethiopia. It's grown at an altitude of 1,750 - 1,800 masl.
The Ardi has been the star lot for Keffa importers for years and for good reason. In 2016 this fruity natural scored 94 points on CoffeeReview.com. The 2017 lot easily hoovers above 90.
This coffee is a well-balanced natural with notes of dark berries and tannins that stand out over a smooth, dark chocolate body. We taste black currant, cacao and Madagascar vanilla. This coffee even appeals to those amongst us that prefer washed coffees! Give it a try.
TASTING NOTES: BLACK CURRANT /// CACAO /// VANILLA
