Ethiopia / Ayele Dula
It’s historically been difficult, in sourcing coffees from Ethiopia, to find a coffee from an individual farmer so we feel honored to feature this offering from Ayele Dula. Long ago his farm land was home to anacondas and vipers and that is where the name of his farm, Dhudhufa (viper), comes from.
The farm has been in the family for three generations, and consists of 7,600 trees that are used to exclusively produce sun-dried natural coffees. His care and dedication are certainly apparent in every cup.
This full-bodied coffee shows notes of red wine, plum, and baker’s chocolate.
