Ethiopia / Uraga
At some of Ethiopia’s most extreme altitudes lies Guji’s Uraga region, a dense forest that spans almost one thousand miles! Within this massive forest are three smaller forests, and Yabitu Koba village is found within the smallest one called Ugo Begne.
Yabitu Koba has become known for its incredibly ripe red fruits, blazing acidity, and classic Ethiopian florals such as bergamot.
This lot is a washed coffee collected from 720 farmers and was grown at an altitude of 2160-2310 MASL.
We taste refreshing notes of orange blossom, maple syrup, and honey over a smooth black tea body.
