Peru / Cusco
This Peru/Cusco comes to us from Agustin Ccasa Ccoyo of the Valle Inca Cooperative, a group of 200 members in Cusco, Peru. Agustin has been producing coffee for 12 years and bought his land in 1975 based on the altitude and weather. He produces his coffee alongside his wife and children and they have began to win awards based on the quality. This remote region is just beginning to access to basic infrastructure, such as electricity and paved roads, and when Valle Inca wants to visit Agustin's farm to collect coffee they must first transmit a message from the local radio station and hope that he is within earshot!
We hope you enjoy this coffee as much as we certainly do.
We’re digging the notes of warm cinnamon, cranberry, and dark chocolate.
TASTING NOTES: CINNAMON /// CRANBERRY /// DARK CHOCOLATE
