This coffee comes to us from the Pérez Family’s Finca Flor Del Café in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. In 1940, Oswaldo Pérez and his brothers began growing Typica on about 14 acres of land. The farm was later taken over by Oswaldo’s three sons who introduced new varieties of coffee and improved production methods. In 1992, the youngest son, also called Oswaldo, bought the farm from his brothers and established Finca Flor del Café. The farm is now home to over 250 acres of coffee plantations and over 80 acres of untouched tropical rainforest.
The Pérez family are well known in the coffee world for their quality focus and innovative approach. The farm has placed multiple times in Cup of Excellence.
This organic, washed coffee is grown at an elevation of 1500 MASL and will have you dreaming of the rainforests of Guatemala.
