Established in 2018, Gisheke Washing Station quickly gained a reputation for producing the highest quality coffee lots. Thanks to its location, resting between two steep hills that point directly towards Lake Kivu, Gisheke gets near constant wind flow ensuring an even drying process throughout.
We roast this coffee a bit on the darker side than most of our offerings as an ode to those who love that classic mug of diner coffee. This roast has a very robust body that pairs well with cream and sugar, or if that's not your style - enjoy it black.
