Located in Palanda in Ecuador’s Southern Amazon, Felipe Luzón’s coffee farm combines tradition and innovation in a region renowned for both cocoa and emerging specialty coffee. Felipe has introduced improved and hybrid Typica varieties, earning recognition in the Bracamoros Regional Coffee Competition, and continues to push quality forward with enhanced post-harvest practices.

Despite challenges like low production and logistical hurdles, Felipe’s dedication exemplifies the potential of Ecuador’s southeastern Zamora region. This microlot marks our first-ever offering from Ecuador, highlighting both the exceptional coffee and the growing opportunities for fine coffee cultivation in the area.
