Wush Wush village is located in the Ginbo district of Keffa and is most famous for being home to the eponymous coffee variety, Wush Wush, which is prized across the globe for its delicate notes.
Wush Wush washing station is a centralized co-op at an altitude of 1850 -1950 MASL, where roughly 2,500 local farmers deliver their cherries for further processing. This station is long standing in its reputation of producing beautiful natural and washed processed coffees. Coffees grow alongside forest cardamom, green peppers, and banana trees, with farms yielding about 2-4 bags per season.
It’s been at least a year since we’ve featured a naturally-processed Ethiopia offering and Wush Wush hits all those classic notes you expect and get excited about when drinking Ethiopian coffee. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do here at Repetition!
