Ethiopia / Idido
This coffee comes to us from Idido, a microregion of Yirgacheffe, with soaring altitudes and ample biodiversity. Coffee absolutely thrives in the lush environment the forests provide. Coffees produced in this area are diverse, complex, and vary drastically in cup characteristics from microregion to microregion.
As Yirgacheffe is claimed to be the "birth-place" of coffee, it shouldn't be a surprise that it produces some of the finest coffees in the world.
This is our favorite Ethiopia offering we've had in a couple of years. Brews nicely as a pour-over. We get a nice syrupy body and a very extended aftertaste. Enjoy
