The Cajamarca region of Peru is known for quality coffee, often produced from small family run farms. Grown at high altitudes in the Andes mountains, this region provides the perfect climate for growing delicious and dependable coffee. The coffee plants thrive in the rich volcanic soil, and much of it is cultivated by smallholders in remote regions. Because of this, the green coffee is often processed by the farmers themselves. The beans are harvested by hand, carefully washed, and dried by the sun. All of these efforts come together to ensure that your cup of Peru is a delicious experience.
